Occipital encephalocele and Hydrocephalus

Congenital or acquired occipital brain hernia can occur when a portion of the occipital brain parenchyma protrudes or protrudes out of the skull through a hole in the occipital skull.

An occipital brain hernia can lead to hydrocephalus. See hydrocephalus (hydrocephalus/水頭症) and congenital cerebrospinal malformations.
