- 포도상구균 화상피부 증후군은 황색 포도상구균 항원 항체 이상반응이나 약물 부작용 등으로 생기는 급성피부 질환이다.
- 심한 2도 화상을 입은 것과 같은 피부 발진이 생긴다.
- 유아들이나 10세 이하 학령기 아이들에게 더 잘 생긴다.
- 홍반성 반진, 표피박리, 탈피, 낙설 등이 피부에 생기고 권태감, 열, 신경과민 등의 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다.
- 사포와 비슷한 홍반성 발진도 날 수 있다.
- 이런 발진이 머리카락이 나있지 않은 머리 부위에서부터 몸통전체로 퍼져 나고 입술 주위와 손가락 사이에도 생긴다.
- 병력, 증상 징후, 진찰소견 등을 종합해서 이 병이 의심하면 포도상구균 세균 배양검사 등을 해서 진단한다.
- 항 포도상구균 항생제로 치료하고 대증 치료한다.
- 약물 부작용으로 생길 때는 치료에 쓰던 약물을 즉시 중단한다.
- 스티븐-존슨 증후군, 다형 홍반, 독성 표피괴사 붕괴증
- 포도상구균 화상 피부 증후군 (Staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome/SSSS)
