Meconium ileus 태변성 장폐색증

• Annular pancreas, congenital esophageal obstruction, congenital tracheal esophageal fistula (fistula), hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, intestinal axial inflammation, congenital giant colon, meconium intestinal obstruction, intestinal obstruction, inguinal hernia constriction, intestinal obstruction, intestinal obstruction, etc. As a cause, some or all of the gastrointestinal tract from the esophagus to the anus of a newborn may be blocked. • Here is a brief explanation of meconium ileus. About 30% of the causes of intestinal obstruction in newborns are meconium small intestine obstruction (Source; Consultant for pediatricians, February 2004, p.60).

• Meconium intestinal obstruction is a disease in which part of the small intestine is blocked due to a thick, sticky meconium.

• This disease is common in newborns with cystic fibrosis.

• Abdominal bloating, vomiting with bile, the enlarged small intestine without pressing the meconium, and symptoms such as abdominal pain and abdominal tenderness occur.

• Diagnosis is based on medical history, symptom signs, examination, abdominal x-ray examination, ultra sound photograph examination, and CT scan examination.

• Treated with surgery or with enema.
