클로스트리듐 디피실레균 대장염(클로스트리듐 다이피셀 결장염) 원인 

  • 클로스트리듐 다이피셀(Clostridium difficile)균에 의해 대장이 감염되면 클로스트리듐 다이피셀 대장염이 생긴다. 
  • 세팔로스포린, 페니실린, 또는 클린다마이신 등으로 치료받는 병원 입원 환자에게 이 감염병이 발병될 수 있다. 
  • 경구용 항생제로 치료받을 때 이병이 발생될 수 있다. 

클로스트리듐 디피실레균 대장염(클로스트리듐 다이피셀 결장염) 증상 징후

  • 클로스트리듐 디피실레균에서 생성되는 외독소 A와 외독소 B에 의해 대장염이 생긴다. 
  • 피와 곱이 섞인 설사를 하고 복통 및 열도 날 수 있다. 
  • 이 병은 항생제 치료로 생긴 부작용에 의해서 생긴 대장염의 일종으로 설사를 동반하는 것이 일반적이다. 

클로스트리듐 디피실레균 대장염(클로스트리듐 다이피셀 결장염) 진단 치료

  • 병력, 증상 후, 진찰소견 등을 종합해서 이병이 의심되면 대변에서 클로스트리듐 다피실레의 외독소를 검출해 진단한다. 
  • 그 동안 쓰던 항생제를 더 이상 쓰지 말고 Metronidazole이나 Vancomycin으로 치료한다.
  • 항생제로 어떤 병을 치료할 때는 클로스트리듐 디이피셀균성 대장염이 생길 위험성이 있는 것을 염두에 두고 항생제 치료에 임해야 한다. 최근 이 병으로 사망률이 증가 추세에 있다.
미 FDA는 위장염을 일으킬 수 있는 Clostridium difficile과 norovirus 등 11 가지의 원인 병원균을 검사할 수 있는 xTAG Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel을 승인 했다.

Causes of Clostridium difficile colitis 
• Clostridium difficile colitis occurs when the colon is infected by Clostridium difficile.
• Patients admitted to hospitals who are treated with cephalosporin, penicillin, or clindamycin can develop this infectious disease.
• This disease can occur when treated with oral antibiotics.
Signs of symptoms of Clostridium difficile colitis 
• Colitis is caused by exotoxin A and exotoxin B produced by Clostridium difficile bacteria.
• You may have diarrhea that is mixed with blood and mucus, and you may also have stomach pain and fever.
• This disease is a type of colitis caused by side effects caused by antibiotic treatment and is usually accompanied by diarrhea.
Clostridium difficile colitis diagnosis, treatment
• If the disease is suspected by synthesizing the medical history, symptoms, and examination findings, it is diagnosed by detecting the exotoxin of Clostridium dafficile in the stool.
• Stop using the antibiotics you have been using and treat them with Metronidazole or Vancomycin.
• When treating certain diseases with antibiotics, be aware that there is a risk of developing Clostridium difficile colitis. Recently, the mortality rate from this disease is increasing.
The US FDA has approved the xTAG Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel, which can test 11 causative pathogens, including Clostridium difficile and norovirus, which can cause gastroenteritis.
