- 진드기에 물려 감염되는 코로라도 진드기 열은 전신 바이러스 감염병이다.
- 미 다코타 주 남쪽 지역, 럭키산맥, 서 캐나다, 아시아, 미 서부 등 지역에서 발생되는 급성 바이러스성 감염병이다.
- 이 병을 예방할 수 있는 특별한 예방접종 백신은 없다.
- DEET 구제제 등으로 진드기에 물리지 않게 예방한다.
- 열, 한전, 근육 통, 관절 통, 심한 두통, 안구 통 등의 증상 징후가 생기고 뇌염, 심낭염 등도 생길 수 있다.
