각종 질병을 치료할 때 쓰는 약물로 간염이 생길 수 있다.

  • 결핵 치료에 쓰는 아이나(INH), 또는 박테리아 감염병 치료에 쓰는 설파제나 에리스로마이신 등 항생제, 또는 어떤 병을 치료할 때 쓰는 약물로 간염이 생길 수 있다. 
  • 약물로 치료 받을 때 생긴 간염이 약물 알레르기로 생겼는지, 약물 유해 작용으로 생겼는지 또는 약물 부작용으로 생겼는지 확실히 알 수 없는 때가 있다. 
  • 치료는 쓰던 약물을 더 이상 쓰지 않는다.

• Hepatitis can be caused by INH, used to treat tuberculosis, antibiotics such as sulfa or erythromycin, used to treat bacterial infectious diseases, or drugs used to treat certain diseases.

• There are times when it is not clear whether the hepatitis caused by treatment with drugs is due to a drug allergy, adverse drug effects, or side effects of drugs.

• Treatment no longer uses the drugs that were used.
