심근염 Myocarditis

  • 심장의 맨 바깥 면을 둘러싼 두 겹의 얇은 막을 심막이라고 한다.
  • 심막에는 안쪽 심막과 바깥쪽 심막 모두 두 겹으로 되어 있다.
  • 심장의 맨 안쪽 심장벽을 심장내막 또는 심내막이라고 한다.
  • 심막으로 싸여 있는 심장벽 맨 바깥면과 심장내막 사이에 있는 심장 근육층이라 하고 심근육층을 이루고 있는 근육을 심근 또는 심장근육 이라고 한다.
  • 이 심근에 염증이 생긴 병을 심근염이라고 한다(그림 95 참조).

심근염의 원인

  • 바이러스, 박테리아, 곰팡이, 리케차, 기생충, 류마티스 열, 갑상선 기능 항진이나 갑상선 기능 저하증, 각기병, 프리드라히 가족 운동실조, 진행성 근육 이상 영양증, 또는 그 외 다른 병에 의해서 심근염이 생길 수 있다.
  • 여러 종류의 바이러스가 심근에 직접 침입해서 심근염을 일으킬 수 있다.
  • 디프테리아균 균독, 또는 다른 종류의 박테리아가 만들어 낸 균독으로 심근염이 생길 수 있다.

  • 소아들의 심근염의 원인들 중 가장 흔한 원인은 바이러스 심근 감염병이다. 바이러스 감염으로 심장 근육층에 생긴 심근염을 바이러스성 심근염이라고 한다.
  • 가와사키 병(Kawasaki disease/Mucocutaneous lymphnode syndrome/ Kawasaki syndrome)으로 심근염이 생길 수 도 있다..

 

Myocarditis 심근염

• The two layers of thin membrane surrounding the outermost surface of the heart is called the pericardium.

• The pericardium has two layers, both the inner and outer pericardium.

• The innermost wall of the heart is called the endocardial or endocardium.

• The heart muscle layer between the outermost surface of the heart wall and the endometrium, which is surrounded by the pericardium, is called the heart muscle layer, and the muscle that forms the myocardial muscle layer is called the myocardium or heart muscle.

• This disease in which the myocardium is inflamed is called myocarditis (see Figure 95).

Causes of myocarditis

• Myocarditis can be caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, Rickettsia, parasites, rheumatic fever, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, beriberi, Friedrich’s family ataxia, progressive muscular dystrophy, or any other disease. • Several types of viruses can enter the heart muscle directly and cause myocarditis.

• The most common cause of myocarditis in children is viral myocardial infection. Myocarditis caused by a viral infection in the muscle layer of the heart is called viral myocarditis

. • Kawasaki disease/Mucocutaneous lymphnode syndrome/ Kawasaki syndrome may cause myocarditis.
