  • 뇌에 있는 연수의 기능에 의해서 지배받는 근육들에 부전마비가 생겨 그 근육들에 무력이 생기는 병을 근무력증이라 한다.
  • 신생아에게 일시적으로 생기는 근무력증을 신생아 일시적 근무력증이라 한다.
  • 신생아 일시적 근무력증은 중증 근무력증이 있는 엄마로부터 태어난 신생아들의 7명 중 1명꼴로 발생된다.
  • 때로는 근무력증이 있지 않은 엄마로부터 태어난 신생아에게도 근무력증이 생길 수 있다.
  • 이 경우 항체검사 결과가 음성으로 나타나는 것이 보통이다.
  • 이 경우의 근무력증을 선천성 근무력증이라고 한다.

신생아 일시적 근무력증의 증상 징후

  • 출생 후 24-72시간 내 증상 징후가 발생되는 것이 보통이다.
  • 연수의 지배받는 근육들에 부전마비가 생길 수 있다.
  • 우는 소리가 미약하고 젖이나 우유병을 빠는 힘도 미약할 수 있다.
  • 아기의 전신에 힘이 쪽 빠질 수 있다.

신생아 일시적 근무력증의 진단 치료

  • 가족 병력, 임신 력, 증상 징후 진찰을 종합해서 이 병을 의심되면 엄마와 아기의 피에서 아세틸코린 수체 항체검사를 해서 진단할 수 있고 항 콜린에스트라제로 치료 하면 증상 징후가 금방 호전된다.
  • 일반적으로 치료를 받지 않아도 생후 5주 내에 자연 회복되는 것이 보통이다.
