산부인과에서 출산하여 울고 하루를 보내는데 아기가 갑자기 숨이 고르지 못해 큰 병원으로 옮겨 진찰하니 성대가 양쪽 마비가 되어서 숨이 막혀 인공호흡기에 의존하고 있습니다.
지금은 태어난 지 6일된 신생아에게 이런 경우가 있는지… 어떤 원인인지 궁금합니다..
머리나 심장. 아무런 이상이 없는 걸로 검사가 나왔는데..

지금까지 양쪽 성대에 분포된 성대신경이 마비된 실례를 본적이 없지만 성대마비(Vocal cord paralysis)라는 병명은 있습니다.
후두 신경마비, 뇌 손상, 보툴리즘, 신생아 일시적 근무력증, 후두 외상, 척수 외상 등으로 후두 신경기능 장애가 생길 수 있습니다. 후두 신경 기능 장애가 있으면 숨을 정상적으로 쉬지 못하는 증상 징후가 생길 수 있습니다.
후두 신경기능 장애가 생기고 성대가 마비되면 호흡 지장이 심하게 생기고 그로 인해 창백하거나 전신 청색증이 생길 수 있습니다.

• Laryngeal nerve dysfunction can occur due to laryngeal nerve palsy, brain injury, botulism, neonatal transient myasthenia gravis, laryngeal trauma, and spinal cord trauma. If you have laryngeal nerve dysfunction, you may experience symptoms that prevent you from breathing normally.

• Laryngeal nerve dysfunction and paralysis of the vocal cords can cause severe breathing difficulties, resulting in paleness or systemic cyanosis.
