산부인과에서 출산하여 울고 하루를 보내는데 아기가 갑자기 숨이 고르지 못해 큰 병원으로 옮겨 진찰하니 성대가 양쪽 마비가 되어서 숨이 막혀 인공호흡기에 의존하고 있습니다.

지금은 태어난 지 6일된 신생아에게 이런 경우가 있는지 어떤 원인인지 궁금합니다.

머리나 심장. 아무런 이상이 없는 걸로 검사가 나왔는데 선생님의 답변 부탁드립니다.

성대의 양쪽에 분포되는 신경이 마비된 실례를 본적이 없지만 성대마비(Vocal cord paralysis)라는 병명은 있습니다.

후두 신경마비, 뇌 손상, 보툴리즘, 신생아 일시적 근무력증, 외상, 척수 외상 등으로 그런 증상 징후가 생길 수 있습니다.

성대가 많이 마비되면 호흡곤란이 심하게 생길 수 있고 그로 인해 얼굴이나 피부가 창백해지거나 전신 청색증이 생길 수 있습니다.
