신생아 무호흡증, Neonatal apnea/Apnea in the newborn infants

• 숨이 멈추는 기간이 20초나 그 이상 호흡하면 무흡증이라고 한다.
• 신생아에게 생긴 무호흡증을 신생아 무호흡증이라 한다.
• 또 숨이 멈추는 기간이 20초 보다 더 짧더라도 청색증, 창백, 근력 저하증이 있거나 서맥의 증상 징후가 있어도 무호흡증이라고 한다.
• 미숙아에게 생기는 무호흡증은 중추신경계의 이상으로도 생길 수 있고
• 상기도의 일부 또는 전부가 막혀도 생길 수 있고
• 또는 중추신경계 이상과 상기도 막힘이 동시에 있어도 무호흡증이 생길 수 있다.
• 원인을 다시 더 살펴보면 신생아 패혈증,
• 뇌막염,
• 또는 뇌염,
• 괴사성 장염 등 신생아 감염병,
• 실내온도나 보육기 내 공기의 온도가 너무 낮거나 높을 때,
• 저산소증,
• 빈혈,
• 쇼크,
• 동맥관 개존증 등으로 산소공급이 부족할 때,
• 가사,
• 부종,
• 출혈,
• 경련, 기형 등 중추신경 장애,
• 저혈당,
• 저 칼슘증,
• 고 소듐증(고 나트륨),
• 고암모니아증,
• 탈수 등 신진대사 이상,
• 분만부가 복용한 약물이나 임신 중 태반을 통해서 태아에게로 들어 온 약물 등으로 신생아 무호흡증이 생길 수 있다.
• 치료는 원인에 따라서 한다.
• 산소호흡 치료를 하고 Theophyllne제 등 중추신경 자극제로 치료할 수 있다.
