상완골 소두가 부스러지는 것 같이 생긴 병을 판너병이라 한다.

상완골 내측 상과에 손상이 생길 수 있다.

특히 공을 던지는 투구 운동을 과도로 하거나 반복적으로 과도하게 할 때 상완골 내측 상과에 현미경적 미소 손상, 골절, 탈구, 골단염 등이 생길 수 있다.
투구(피칭)하는 소아들의 상완골 내측 상과가 비대해질 수 있고 박리될 수 있고,
거기에 붙은 근육에 미소로 손상이 생길 수 있고,
내측 병립 인대가 손상될 수 있다.
이런 손상들을 통틀어 리틀 리그 팔꿈치 관절이라고 한다.
주관절을 움직이는데 별 지장이 없고 X선 검사 상에 이상이 나타나지 않을 수 있다.
손상이 있는 부위에 국소적 통증이 있을 수 있고 부을 수 있다.
다 나을 때까지, 최하 6주 동안 쉬고, 물리치료, 얼음찜질, 진통제 등으로 대증 치료한다.
주 6번 이상 투구하는 게임을 하지 않아 예방한다.
