살충제나 제초제 중독 예방, Prevention of pesticide or herbicide poisoning

  • 살충제, 제초제, 곰팡이 살균제 등을 농가에서 도시 일반 가정에서 요즘 한다. 소아청소년들이 그런 화학 물질에 중독되기도 한다.
  • 과수원이나 농가에서 사용한 살충제가 과일이나 곡물에 오염될 수 있다. 그런 과일이나 곡물을 적절히 씻지 않는 채 성인들이나 소아청소년들이 먹는 경우가 많다.
  • 살충제나 제초제 등 농약을 사고로 마시거나 피부에 묻히거나 코나 입을 통해서 호흡기 내로 흡인해서 중독될 수 있고 심지어는 사망 할 수 있다.
  • 중독의 정도에 따라 여러 가지 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다. 

다음과 같이 살충제나 제초제 중독을 예방 한다.

① 살충제, 농약, 또는 제초제 등을 사용하기 전에 사용상 주의 사항을 잘 읽은 다음 용법에 따라 반드시 써야 한다.
② 쓰다 남은 살충제나 농약 등은 원래 용기에서 다른 용기로 절대로 옮겨 담아서는 안 된다.
③ 사용 전이나 사용 후 어린 영유아들의 손에 닿지 않는 안전한 곳에 보관해야 한다.
④ 살충제나 제초제를 집 주위에서 쓸 때는 그 사실을 이웃집이나 동네 사람들에게 알려주어야 한다.
⑤ 가능한 한 살충제를 쓰지 않고 재배한 과일이나 농산물의 음식물을 먹는다.
