  •  바이러스 감염이나 A군 베타 용혈성 연쇄상구균 감염이나 헤모필러스 박테리아 감염 등으로 목젖에 감염병이 생길 수 있다.
  • 목젖에만 감염병이 생길 수 있지만 급성 인두염, 급성 편도염, 급성 인두편도염, 또는 급성 후두염과 목젖염이 동시 생길 수 있다.
  • 알레르기 반응으로 목젖염이 생길 수 있다.

목젖염의 증상 징후

  • 열, 인두통, 침 흘리기 등의 증상 징후가 있을 수 있고 목젖이 아프고 붓고 발적된다. 
  • 인두염 등과 같이 있을 때는 목젖염의 증상 징후 이외 원래 동반 병의 증상 징후가 함께 있을 수 있다.

목젖염의 진단

  • 병력 증상 징후 진찰소견과 세균검사 등으로 진단한다. 

목젖염의 치료

  • 원인균에 따라 항생제 치료 또는 관찰 치료를 한다.

Infectious diseases can occur in the uvula due to viral infection, group A beta hemolytic streptococcal infection, or Haemophilus bacterial infection. Infectious diseases can occur only in the uvula, but acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngeal tonsillitis, or both acute laryngitis and oophoritis can occur.

An allergic reaction can lead to oophoritis.

Symptoms, Signs

Symptoms may include fever, sore throat, drooling, and sore uvula, swelling, and redness. When there is a pharyngitis, etc., in addition to the symptoms of oophoritis, there may be symptoms of the original accompanying disease.

Diagnosis 

It is diagnosed by medical history, symptoms, symptoms, examination findings, and bacteriological tests.

Treatment 

Depending on the causative agent, antibiotic treatment or observational treatment is performed.
