목과 목 주위 림프절염 Lymphadenitis in the neck and around the neck

림프절이 있는 근접부위에 어떤 감염병이 생길 때 그 부위의 림프관에 연결 된 림프절이 반응적으로 커지거나 그 림프절에 감염병이 생길 수 있다. 때로는 림프절이 있는 근접부위에 감염병이 없는데도 림프절에 감염병이 생길 수 있다.

이 림프절염은 묘소병을 일으킨 세균 감염으로 생긴 것이다. 묘소병 이외, 결핵균 감염, A군 연구균 감염, 또는 감염 성 단핵구증을 일으키는 EB 바이러스 감염 등으로 목 림프절염이 생길 수 있다.

A군 베타 용혈성 연쇄상구균 인두염이 있을 때 턱 바로 밑 목 부분이나 하악골 바로 밑 부위에 있는 림프절이 부어 있을 수 있다. 

알레르기 비염이 있는 아이들 또는 아토피성 체질이 있는 아이들의 아데노이드와 편도가 비대해지기도 하고 편도가 커지고 목의 림프절도 커져 있을 수 있다. (목에 있는 림프절 비대와 림프절염 참조). 출처-Copyrightⓒ 2001 John Sangwon Lee,MD.FAAP

i-rectangular muscle node When an infectious disease occurs in the vicinity of a lymph node, the lymph nodes connected to the lymphatic vessels in that area may grow reactively, or an infectious disease may develop in that lymph node. This lymphadenitis is the result of a bacterial infection that caused catastrophic disease.

In addition to catarrhal disease, lymphadenitis of the neck can be caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, infection with group A bacteria, or infection with EB virus that causes infectious mononucleosis.

In group A beta hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis, swollen lymph nodes may be present in the neck just below the chin or just below the mandible.

Children with allergic rhinitis or children with an atopic constitution may have enlarged adenoids and tonsils, enlarged tonsils and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. (See Enlarged lymph nodes in the neck and lymphadenitis).
