거의 대부분의 전신에서 돌아온 림프액은 쇄골 하 정맥 속으로 들어간다. 빨간 점으로 표시한 부분에서 핌프액이 정맥 속으로 들어간다.

전신 각 조직 속에 모세 림프관이 있고 그 모세림프관은 더 큰 림프관 속으로 이어지고 결국에는 림프줄기→림프 집합관→쇄골 하정맥으로 이어진다. 이런 림프 흐름의 경로 중 림프절이 있다. 그 림프절에 박테리아 등 병원체가 감염되어 곪는 것도 림프절염이라고 한다.

There are capillary lymphatic vessels in each tissue of the whole body, and the capillary lymphatic vessels lead into larger lymphatic vessels, eventually leading to lymphatic stem → lymphatic collecting tube → subclavian vein. Among these lymph flow pathways are lymph nodes.

It is also called lymphadenitis that the lymph nodes become infected with pathogens such as bacteria and fester.
