  • 누낭에 생긴 염증이나 감염을 누낭염이라 한다(그림 12, 24, 110).
  • 비루관(비루도, 콧물관)이 막힐 때 누낭염이 더 잘 생길 수 있다.
  • 누낭염은 비루관염과 결막염을 동반할 때가 많다.
  • 누낭이 있는 부위가 붉고 붓을 수 있다.
  • 그 쪽의 코 뿌리의 피부도 조금 부을 수 있다.
  • 그쪽 눈에서 눈물, 점액, 또는 고름이 날 수 있다.
  • 증상 징후 진찰 소견 등을 종합해서 진단할 수 있다.
  • 필요에 따라 우점이나 코 쪽에 있는 결막에서 얻은 피검물 점액으로 그람 염색현미경 세균검사와 세균배양검사를 해서 원인균을 알아낸다.
  • 그 병원체를 죽일 수 있는 항생제로 치료한다.
  • 안과에서 전신 항생제와 안연고로 치료한다.
  • 누관이 막혔을 때는 비루관을 개통시키는 치료를 한다.

• Inflammation or infection of the lacrimal sac is called lacrimal cystitis (Fig. 12, 24, 110)

. • You are more likely to develop dacryocystitis when the nasolacrimal ducts (nasal ducts, rhinorrhea) are blocked. • Dacryocystitis is often accompanied by rhinorrhea and conjunctivitis.

• The area with the tear sac may be red and swollen.

• The skin at the root of the nose on that side may also swell a little. • Tears, mucus, or pus may come out of that eye.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining symptoms, signs, examination findings, etc.

• If necessary, the causative bacteria are identified by bacteriological examination and bacterial culture examination under a Gram staining microscope with the specimen mucus obtained from the conjunctiva in the dorsum or nasal side.

• Treat with antibiotics that can kill the pathogen.

• Treated with systemic antibiotics and eye ointment by an ophthalmologist.

• When the fistula is blocked, the treatment is to open the nasolacrimal duct.
