미국서 호두, 개암, 코코넛(야자열매), 캐슈넛, 피스타치오, 브라질넛 등 나무 견과를 먹고 년 1.8백만의 사람들이 거의 죽을 지경이 갔던 심한 식품 알레르기가 생기기도 하고 때로는 죽기도 한다. 참고로, 땅콩은 나무 견과류에 속하지 않는다.
나무 견과류는 여러 가지 음식물 성분의 재료로 쓰기 때문에 나무 견과가 어떤 음식물이 들어 있는지 모르고 그 음식물을 먹고 식품 알레르기가 생길 수 있다.그런데도 나무 견과류 음식물이 좋은 음식물도 취급하기도 한다.
버거, 샐러드, 빵, 바베큐 소스 등에도 나무 견과의 성분이 조금 들어 있을 수 있다.
땅콩에 알레르기가 있는 사람은 나무 견과류 음식물에도 알레르기가 생길 수 있다.
나무 견과류 음식물에 알레르기가 있는 사람은 음식물을 사먹을 때 그 음식물 성분 속에 들어 있는 음식물 성분이 무엇인지 다 알고 먹어야 한다.
또 나무 견과류 음식물에 식품 알레르기가 심하게 생기면 평소에 에피펜 자가주사 주사약을 소지하고 다니다가 식품 알레르기가 생기면 에피펜 주사로 응급으로 처치하고 따라잡기 치료를 하기 위해서 병원 응급실로 가야 한다.

그 외 식품 알레르기

땅콩이나 새우 등의 음식물을 먹은 후 아나필락시스(과민반응)이 생겨 생명을 위협할 수 있는 위중한 식품 알레르기가 생겨 심하게 앓을 수 있고 그로 인해 사망할 수 있다.
밀가루나, 보리 음식물에 들어 있는 글루텐으로 염증성 대장 소장 질환(염증성 장염)이 생길 수 있다.
땅콩이나 새우 등의 음식물을 먹은 후 아나필락시스이(과민반응) 생길 수 있다.
그 외로, 더 많은 식품 알레르기가 있고 그로 인한 증상 및, 또는 징후가 생긴다.
히포크라테스는 “Let foods to be medicine”이라 했다. 음식물은 약이고 보약이라 했다.
숱하게 많은 종류의 음식물은 우리에게 사랑이고 보약이고 젖줄 역할을 한다.
음식물 알레르기로 고생하는 사람 수는 그렇게 많지 않다.
즐겁게 먹고 건강하게 살기를 빈다.

• In the United States, eating tree nuts such as walnuts, hazelnuts, coconuts, cashews, pistachios and brazil nuts leads to severe food allergies and sometimes deaths, which nearly killed 1.8 million people a year. For reference, peanuts do not belong to tree nuts.

• Since tree nuts are used as an ingredient in a variety of food ingredients, eating them without knowing what foods they contain can lead to food allergies. However, some foods with good tree nut foods are handled.

• Burgers, salads, bread, barbecue sauces, etc. may also contain some tree nut ingredients.

• People who are allergic to peanuts may also develop an allergy to tree nut foods.

• Anyone who is allergic to tree nut foods should know what food ingredients are in the food and eat them when they buy food.

• Also, if you have severe food allergies to food from tree nuts, you usually carry epipene self-injection drugs. If you have food allergies, you should go to the hospital emergency room for emergency treatment with epipen injections and catch-up treatment. Other food allergies
