귀 아픔(이통) Earache

  • 아이들의 귀가 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 가끔 아플 수 있다. 
  • 귀가 아픈 증상을 이통, Earache 또는 Otalgia라고도 한다.

귀 아픔의 원인

  • 중이강 속의 압이 음압으로 될 때 이통이 생길 수 있다.
  • 감기,
  • 비염,
  • 귀에 생기는 암,
  • 골수염,
  • 중이염,
  • 측두골과 하악골 관절 증후군,
  • 하악골 관절염,
  • 연소성 류마토이드 관절염,
  • 대상성 포진,
  • 외이도 이물,
  • 외이도염,
  • 외이도 아토피성 피부염,
  • 외이도 외상,
  • 고막파열,
  • 외이도 종양 등으로 인해서 귀가 아플 수 있다.

치료

  • 원인에 따라서 한다.
  • 중이염 등으로 생기는 이통은 원인을 치료하고 타이레놀이나 모트린 등 진통제로 치료한다.
  • 목이 아플 때 통증이 귀로 방사되어 귀가 아프다고 할 수 있다.

  • 급성, 또는 만성 외이도염, 푸릉클(부스럼), 이물, 연골막염, 고막염, 수포성 고막염, 대상포진 또는 람지헌트 증후군, 또는 외이도에 생긴 악성 종양 등이 귓바퀴(이륜), 외이도, 고막 등에 있을 때 이통이 생길 수 있다.
  • 급성 중이염, 유양돌기염, 항공성 중이염, 국부적 농양, 추체첨염, 또는 악성병이 중이나 유양돌기에 있을 때 이통이 생길 수 있다.
  • 측두 하악관절 증후군, 인두염, 편도염, 전두동염, 심장 이싱이나 폐의 이상, 3차 신경통, 또는 인두설 신경통이 있을 때도 귀에 이통이 있을 수 있다. 출처-Boughs Wellcome Co., Research Triangle Park, N.C. 27709

Earache (earache) 귀 아픔(이통)

• Children’s ears can sometimes hurt for a variety of reasons.

• Ear pain is also called earache, earache or otalgia.

Causes of ear pain

• When the pressure in the middle ear cavity becomes negative pressure, ear pain may occur. • cold,

• Rhinitis,

• cancer of the ear;

• osteomyelitis; • Otitis media;

• Temporal bone and mandibular joint syndrome;

• Mandibular osteoarthritis; • Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis

; • herpes zoster;

• foreign body in the ear canal;

• otitis externa;

• Atopic dermatitis of the ear canal;

• trauma to the ear canal;

• Drum rupture;

• Ear pain may occur due to an external auditory canal tumor.

Treatment

• Depending on the cause.

• For earache caused by otitis media, treat the cause and use pain relievers such as Tylenol or Motrin.

• When you have a sore throat, the pain radiates to your ears, so it can be said that your ears hurt.

• When acute or chronic otitis externa, furuncle (swelling), foreign body, perichondritis, tympanitis, bullous tympanitis, herpes zoster or Ramsey Hunt syndrome, or a malignant tumor in the external auditory meatus is located in the auricle (anterior ring), external auditory canal, tympanic membrane, etc. You may have earache.

• Acute otitis media, mastoiditis, airborne otitis media, localized abscess, acuspitis, or malignant disease in the middle or mastoid process can cause ear pain.

• You may also have ear pain if you have temporomandibular joint syndrome, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, frontal sinusitis, heart or lung abnormalities, trigeminal neuralgia, or pharyngeal neuralgia. Source – Boughs Wellcome Co., Research Triangle Park, N.C. 27709
